| Posted 1 year, 7 months agoMy wife’s maiden name is Gruendel…she never met a ground hog and absolutely refused to memorize/recite the Prologue to the Canterbury Tales during senior English in high school…this stance caused her A rating to drop to a C.
I admire her, but memorized/recited the Prologue in perfect dialect…and raised my grade from a C to an A.
My mother had the same “hen” when she attended high school and at 93 could still recite the Prologue…
