We are surviving. Henry has finished chemo successfully and is in remission from lymphoma. He had no side-effects from the chemo at all. He even maintained a healthy appetite. He did have a secondary cancer and had to have his leg amputated upon the doctor's recommendation. The doctor felt that Henry was doing so well that amputation was worth it. I must say, honestly, that Henry bounced right back and continues to be lively and eat well. He still runs at almost top speed and his brothers treat him the same.

Good luck with your Berner, Max. We have another Berner who is about to turn 9. Henry turned 8 in the middle of chemo, and we thank God for both of them. Thanks for your comment.

All the best with your challenges with Henry. I have a very big Berner - Max and so far is healthy but I am aware of what could happen and check him over everyday. I am not sure where you are at with Henry as your posts are not dated. Give Henry a big hug!
