Henry’s first “day after”

Well, as the doctor told us, Henry panted a lot this morning. However, he was back to his old self to bark at the tileman who proceeded to give Henry a Pentecostal healing, which we appreciated. Although the doctor told us Henry would be really hungry, he has not touched his “dog” food, so he has been on his high-protein diet of two filet mignons wrapped in bacon, cheese, hamburger, more cheese — but he also wanted my garlic bread, so I gave that to him, too. I figure as long as he has an appetite, that is a good sign. I have been letting him out every couple of hours, and boy, has he wee-weed!!!! It will be a long night, but I am not complaining one bit.
